Image number 1 My best design/work from high school

These photos of my completed year 12 Design and Technology Major Design Project (MDP). For this work I received the highest honor for this work, a nomination for the Powerhouse DesignTech display of outstanding and unique year 12 Major Design Projects.

This poker table was designed with 15 factors of design in mind, including aesthetics, ergonomics, recyclable materials, energy etc... I also used several various techniques such as story boarding side shows and photo graphic records of construction to express , my ideas and creativeness throughout the designing and construction process.

The finished design is an elongated octagonal shape that includes a uniquee chip storage device for 1,000 plus chip, cards, dice and other items.

This design was created through the use of numerous freehand sketches and CAD designs, which enabled to gain different perspectives and better express my thoughts and ideas throughout the creation process.

This work was inspired by my fascination since a young age with design, structure and architecture that Casinos and their entertainment facilities encompass.

This image not only represents an significant accomplishment in design and constriction on my behalf, but most importantly I am proud that I am able to create unique and aesthetically appealing designs/works.
